Lexy began her training as a Fine Artist at The School of Traditional Art, in Glyndon, Maryland. She received a dual degree from The Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA); a BFA in General Fine Arts and Master’s of Art in Teaching.

Her artwork has been on display at the Baltimore Museum of Art, The Walters Art Museum, MICA’s galleries and local exhibitions in Frederick, Maryland.

Her teaching career includes Faculty of Young People’s Studio at MICA and Baltimore Clayworks, Maryland. Lexy also taught Art for Maryland Public Schools.
