As I consciously take in new information from the natural and social media worlds, the sounds and sights around me are inspiring the heavily pigmented “Aphrodite”. The human form is continuing to emerge while remaining androgynous, just as the natural elements, reminiscent of flora and celestial motifs, spread across this dedication to the Greek Goddess of Love. As this “Loving Kindness” series grows, I find myself feeling less and less bound to the constrictions I have felt as a person and an artist.
