We’re going to be Someday is different from my other pieces in that the figures are more visible. At the start of 2021, I finally began to see that being multi-faceted was a good thing. This piece makes me feel more relaxed, with larger open areas and less competition between colors, shapes and lines. We’re going to be Someday’s conception also coincided with a personal intention to make my personal relationships more purposeful and valuable. My need to connect with others as a guide to assist them on their own journey’s became obvious to me during the creation of my early 2021 artworks.
