This early 2021 painting began a new take on the minds relationship with who a person is outwardly. Now and again I get curious about the human form and what a persons expression or body language may reveal. Letting go of some of my dark, thick and restricting lines, and adding brighter pigment reflects my openness as a person to work on my self-worth and self-love. On the other hand, my limited attempt at portraying the figure still reveals I am only starting this personal journey.
